|
My
interpreting services cover court work, international
conferences, as well as negotiation interpreting.
Simultaneous Interpreting:
The speeches are interpreted into the respective
target language at the same time as they are being
made. This technique results in a considerable
time saving. The appropriate technology is required,
(soundproofed booth, headphones, microphones or
whispering equipment, which I will be delighted
to organise).
Consecutive interpreting:
This technique is best suited for business negotiations
and speeches involving a small group. The spoken
passages are generally translated after 5 to 15
minute, whereby the interpreter refers to notes.
Whispering interpreting ("chuchotage"):
This type of interpreting involves simultaneous
interpreting for one to two persons. In this case,
the interpreter does not sit in a booth, but directly
beside the persons and whispers the passages into
their ear.
